Brunico (Bruneck) is the centre of the Val Pusteria (Pustertal) and an important transport hub in South Tyrol. The Val Pusteria railway connects Brunico with Bolzano via Fortezza, as well as with San Candido (Innichen) and Lienz in East Tyrol. Numerous bus lines link Brunico with the surrounding villages and valleys.
Whether to Plan de Corones (Kronplatz), into the Valli di Tures e Aurina (Tauferer Ahrntal) on line 450, to San Vigilio di Marebbe (St. Vigil in Enneberg) on line 460, or to Lago di Braies (Pragser Wildsee) on line 442, public transport keeps you flexible. In winter, skiers value the good link to Plan de Corones, while in summer hikers appreciate the bus connections into the Dolomites.
